Bicycle lightning campaign 2023
During the fall and winter times it will be dark earlier in the day. It is important to have good lightning on your bicycle to make sure you are visible for other road users. As part of the bicycle lightning campaign 'On in the dark (Aan in het Donker)' the municipality will be handing out (free) bicycle lights on the 30th of October. This campaign is focused on preparing cyclists for cycling in the dark and sitmulating them to cycling with a good set of lights on their bicycle. Cycling without proper lightning can make a traffic accident more likely, so taking care of lightning is very important. On the 30th we will be at the following locations to promote te message and hand out free lights between 17:30 - 20:30 pm:
- Campus Plaza
- On the cyclingpath in Junushoff
- 5 mei-plein
- Marijkeweg (near the sportshal).
So don't miss out and get your bicycle lights fixed!
